What We Do
🐾 What We Do
At Anugraha, we are building an urban ecosystem of compassion—where animals aren’t afterthoughts, but citizens of the city. Each initiative is rooted in prevention, dignity, and systemic change.
We operate through a four-pillar model designed to serve street dogs, urban birds, injured wildlife, and neglected fauna—in a way that's visible, scalable, and legally sound.
🚑 Rescue & Mobile Care
Not all animals can wait for help.
Our mobile street care teams and first-response rescue units operate across the city—responding to emergency injury calls, dog fights, hit-and-runs, and animal cruelty reports.
Every van is equipped with:
- Basic trauma & wound kits
- On-call vet coordination
- Shifting crates and heat-safe compartments
We also conduct night patrols in injury-prone zones and during festivals to prevent cruelty and panic-related animal deaths.
Fast. Compassionate. Street-smart care—backed by trained first responders.
🕊️ Urban Bird & Wildlife Protection
From dehydrated pigeons to electrocuted peacocks, cities are silent killers of birds and small wildlife.
We install and maintain:
- Cooling birdhouses and and shaded perches
- Water dispensers on rooftops and public buildings
- Wildlife-safe rescue units for squirrels, reptiles, and orphaned animals
Each installation is mapped and monitored by citizen volunteers, RWAs, and partnered schools.
We're also tracking urban extinction indicators to report pre-endangered species to the Forest Department and CITES authorities.
Because even the smallest feather matters.
🍽️ Feeding & Hydration Infrastructure
We are deploying India’s first city-integrated biscuit vending machines and filtered water stations for street dogs and birds.
These smart, solar-assisted or community-refillable units are placed at strategic urban points—providing clean, regular access to food and water for animals that would otherwise drink from drain water or eat plastic-infested garbage.
💧 Water bowls are maintained daily.
🍘 Machines are stocked with vet-approved biscuits.
🤝 Volunteers monitor usage via simple reporting systems.
This is not charity. It’s clean, scalable street compassion—designed for cities of the future.
📢 Public Awareness & Legal Rights
Awareness saves lives. Ignorance kills.
Anugraha runs continuous public campaigns to:
- Educate citizens about animal protection laws
- Distribute rights-based booklets, hoardings, and digital content
- Assist victims in filing FIRs for cruelty
- Engage schools, colleges, and housing societies in awareness drives
We also maintain a Legal Aid Cell to help volunteers and citizens report and act on animal abuse cases—with free legal guidance and documentation support.
We are changing mindsets, not just feeding mouths.
